Looking for a simple way to bake a delicious cake? Trying to reduce cholesterol has made us to become more innovative. Trying out a cake using oil instead of butter. It's easy and tastes incredible! It has a caramelised honey top which gives it a nice brown look 


Why Oil?

Oil makes the cake super moist and keeps it fresh for longer. Unlike butter, it won't dry out the cake. Plus, it lets the banana flavor really stand out.

How Easy is This?

It's so simple! No need to worry about mashing bananas or using a mixer. Everything—bananas, oil, and more—goes into a blender. Then mix it with the dry ingredients and add your favorite nuts or berries.

Make It Your Own

Want to add something special? You can toss in chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruits such as cranberries to make it uniquely yours!

Quick Recipe Recap

Wet Ingredient

- Ripe Bananas: 345g
- Vegetable Oil: 125ml
- Large Eggs (114g each): 2
- Brown Sugar: 200g
- Vanilla Extract: 1 Teaspoon

Dry Ingredient

- All-Purpose Flour: 240g
- Baking Soda: 1/2 Teaspoon
- Baking Powder: 1 Teaspoon
- Salt: 1/2 Teaspoon

Top Tips:

- Brush honey on top for a sweet finish and let it bake for another 2 minutes to get the brown burn look
- Don't mix too much; it keeps the cake just right.
- Cut the dried fruits and nuts small so it will stay afloat and not sink to the bottom of the cake.
- Check if it's ready with a toothpick—clean means it's done!
