Uncover the Truth Behind 5-Minute No-Bake Cheesecake with Us! 🎂

Today we're baking a 5-minute no-bake cheesecake dessert.

Have you heard the claim that you can make a no-bake cheesecake in just 5 minutes?

We are here to clear up the confusion and show you the truth.

Before we start, let's clarify something.

Making a no-bake cheesecake does not take just 5 minutes, far from it.

However, the ingredients are simple; all you need are 5 ingredients.

INGREDIENT

200ml whipping cream

250g Cream Cheese

3 tablespoon icing sugar

It takes about 3 minutes to whip this cream to soft peaks, and longer if you prefer stiff peaks.

I find the whipped cream mixes easily with the cheesecake mixture if it's at a soft peak stage.

This step takes another 3 minutes to whip the cheesecake mixture to be fluffy and light.

I took longer because I forgot to let it sit at room temperature before using it.

This step can be done in 1 minute if you have a sieve and can sift the icing sugar quickly.

Then, set the mixer to high speed to incorporate the sugar into the cheesecake mixture.

Pour the whipping cream into the cream cheese. Mix until combined.

Placing cling film or plastic wrap on the springform cake tin will take about 1 minute.

It could be less if you're not too concerned with perfection.

Place 100ml of chocolate in a microwave-proof bowl and pour in 50ml of chocolate milk.

Microwave in short 10-second bursts for 30 seconds, stirring until melted. This frosting is creamy, light and has almost the same texture as the cake. It will compliment the cake.

Assembling the cake is where the "5-minute" claim comes from.

I can confirm that assembling the cheesecake can be done within 5 minutes.

First, soak Marie biscuits in chocolate milk.

Dunking more than one biscuit at a time will definitely speed things up.

Place the soaked biscuits to cover the bottom of a springform cake tin.

Next, spread half of the cream cheese mixture on top. Smooth it out with a spoon.

Repeat this step for the second layer. Tap the springform pan to remove any air pockets.

Don't pour the warm chocolate frosting on the assembled cheesecake.

Doing so will create a deep indentation where the warm chocolate frosting was poured.

Freezing the cake for 30 minutes helps solve this issue.

Also gives time for the chocolate frosting to cool to room temperature.

You'll need to chill the cheesecake for several hours, or even overnight

This allow it to set properly. Skipping this step can result in a runny or uneven cheesecake.

And there you have it, the truth about making a no-bake cheesecake.

It takes more than 5 minutes, but the end result is worth it. I decorated the cake with white chocolate shavings and watermelon balls. I wanted strawberries but there were none in the mart that day.

This cake taste much better after 48 hours in my opinion. Do not cut big slices of it. It can make you feel nauseating if eaten too much because the cream ratio to cake is higher This cake is best eaten in small bites.
