Baked Rice Beef Ball mixed with Oyster Sauce for a Tasty Asian flavor

These oyster sauce beef balls are incredibly juicy, savory & full of umami.

The oyster sauce is mixed with the beef balls and not coated outside. This is what makes this beef ball so delicious.

Mixed with the earthy flavors of the shiitake mushrooms, the fresh homemade tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese this meal becomes a concentrated flavor bomb!

To make this into an authentic Asian flavor dish we used rice instead of pasta as the based. This is a full hearty, fast and easy to make mid-week dinner.

The sharp tanginess and sweet tomato flavors add that perfect twang to any meal.

Meatballs Ingredient

1 cup Bread Crumbs

2 tbsp oyster sauce

1 Egg

1 teaspoon Garlic Paste minced garlic

500 grams Ground Beef

Tomato Sauce Ingredient

Onion

Garlic

6 ripe tomatoes

1 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp tomato ketchup

1 tsp chicken stock

8 large shiitake mushrooms

Thyme

1 cup grated mozzarella cheese

Cooked Rice

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Once well combined, form the mixture into 20-22 lime sized balls and places them on a baking tray.

Getting a skillet hot I added the oil and then the meatballs. I browned the beef balls on all sides. I swirled them around the pan to coat and get crispy edges.

Make the beef balls in two batches so they were not crowding the pan. You do not want them to get steamed.

Fry for 10-15 minutes till they are cooked through, and slightly brown.

Assemble the beef balls, cooked rice, tomato sauce and cheese. Baked 30 minutes until brown and serve hot.
