The tenderness and juiciness of this pork tenderloin coupled with the honey sweet and fruity taste of the sauce makes this a perfect dish to serve with steamed rice.
Using a meat mallet you individually beat the cut pork loins. This will method will further tenderizer the pork before it seasoned or cooked.
If you don't have one of these tools, you can use an ordinary fork or even your bare hands to get the same effect.
Rub the meat with the marinating sauce. Let that rub rest on the loins for about 30 minutes.
Put a large frying pan or skillet on the stove and heat it to medium high. Add vegetable oil to the skillet and just set the loins in, one at a time and let them sizzle away. About 1-2 minutes on each side or until brown.
Mom's special sauce is the glaze. She use honey and plum sauce to make the delicious glaze on the cooked pork. She also said that apricot jam instead of plum sauce would make it even better. However in this video we had no apricot jam so we had to settle with plum sauce.
