Pork And Beef Meatballs With Special Sauce

This is my first try to do a baked meatball on spagetti. Tasted pretty good.

First you need to prepare the meatballs. I made mine using a mixture of beef and pork. Meatballs taste better if you add pork into the beef patties. I also used stale bread instead of bread crumbs. I crumble the stale bread before putting them into the mixture.

I cant remember precisely the quantity of each ingredient so I will just give you an estimation:-

500g Mince Beef
500g Mince Pork
4 slice of Stale Bread or 200g of Bread Crumbs
One Egg
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 tbsp Oyster Sauce (special sauce)

I added Oyster Sauce to give it that extra tastiness. To find out if you have added enough salt, fry a small piece and taste it. If not enough, add more salt and pepper. This way you are sure to have a good tasty meatballs. If you do not feel like cooking a small piece on the pan because you are too lazy to wash up then follow like me, use the microwave. It serve the same purpose.

For my pasta sauce, I use the following:-

Ready made Pasta Sauce
4 tomatoes (blended until saucy)
Slice Button Mushrooms
Diced Carrots
Slice Onions
Butter for frying
1 tbsp of oil
Salt & pepper
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Cooked Spaghetti

Roll the meat mixture into balls and fry them until golden brown with butter and oil. The oil is used together with the butter so it wont burn. You do not have to cook the meatballs thoroughly because the baking will do the rest. Set the meatballs into your baking tray.

Using the same pan, fry the onions until brown then add in the rest. Cook the pasta sauce until it thickens. Pour the sauce on top of the meatball then sprinkle the cheese on top. Put the meatballs to baked until the cheese gets bubbly and browned.

Scooped the baked meatballs on top of your spaghetti and it is ready to eat. Yum.
